About
The Rose Center was founded by a group of heart-centered women who care deeply about leading the community back into the beauty and sacredness of life’s final passage. We are a community-supported sanctuary for conscious dying, built through volunteer service and donor generosity.
Vision
Our vision is to provide a peaceful, home-like setting where individuals may experience their final days surrounded by compassion, dignity, and sacred beauty, without financial burden. We envision a space where life’s end is held as deeply as its beginning, and where dying and grief are embraced, honored, and supported as natural and sacred parts of life.
Mission
We offer gentle guidance, loving care, and expanded end-of-life support in our community. We assist individuals and their loved ones through the transition of death and dying with loving presence, reverence, and strength through the power of community.
The Rose Center stands as a beacon to others, not only to live well but to shine brightly upon the art of dying well.
Omega Homes
As a member of the Omega Home Network, we follow its social model and are part of a growing movement to improve the end-of-life experience for families across America. We act as an extension of one’s own family by providing compassionate, person-centered care for loved ones, as a family would in their own home. Many of those we serve are individuals who lack caregivers or have limited financial resources, and we are committed to meeting them where they are and fulfilling their spiritual and physical needs to ensure comfort and dignity in their final days. We complement and enhance medical hospice care by filling caregiving gaps without duplicating services.
The licensed Hospice agency provides all Medicare hospice benefits and medical treatment, just as it would for any Hospice patient. This includes symptom and pain management, along with medical supplies.
We are not a healthcare provider, facility, or clinical environment. We are home to those we serve. We do not charge or bill any insurance and do not receive any government assistance. We are supported solely by our community, not only financially but through volunteers as well.
